Ages 6–12
Kids Martial Arts in Liberty Hill
This is the age martial arts was made for. Kids train in our Cyclones program, split by belt level: Beginner Cyclones for new students and Colored Belt Cyclones once they earn their first rank. Both build focus, confidence, and discipline through a real belt curriculum.

Why families choose it
What your family gets out of it
Focus that transfers to school
Every class demands sustained attention: memorized forms, combinations, and coached corrections. Parents routinely report the difference shows up in homework before it shows up in belt rank.
Bully-proof confidence
Kids learn verbal boundaries first and physical self-defense second, with clear rules about when each is appropriate. Confidence removes the target; skills back it up.
Real curriculum, real progress
A structured belt system with testable requirements means your child always knows what they are working toward, and belt tests become family milestones.
Fitness disguised as fun
An hour of kicking, drilling, and partner games burns the energy screens never do. No bench, no cuts, no sitting out.
Straight answers
Questions parents ask us
My child has never done martial arts. Will they be behind?
No. New students start in Beginner Cyclones with a quick skills orientation, and classes are grouped so beginners drill with beginners. Most kids feel at home within two classes.
What is the difference between Beginner and Colored Belt Cyclones?
Beginner Cyclones is for white belts learning fundamentals. Once your child earns their first colored belt, they move to Colored Belt Cyclones where technique and expectations step up. Both run on the same schedule days, so the transition is seamless.
How many classes per week do kids attend?
Two classes per week is the standard rhythm and enough to progress through the curriculum. Ask about attendance options at your tour.
Is sparring required?
Controlled, padded sparring is introduced gradually and only when a student and their instructor agree they are ready. Safety gear is required and rules are strict.
What does it cost?
Programs are priced by enrollment type, and the fastest way to get real numbers is the free tour, where you also see a class in action. No high-pressure contracts at the table.
Do you serve families outside Liberty Hill?
Yes. Families train with us from Leander, Bertram, Georgetown, and Florence. We are on W Hwy 29, about 10 minutes from north Leander.
